Laundry cards are distributed at move-in. Students can then register the cards for use.
How do the cards work?
The laundry cards are distributed without any value on the card. You need to register your card online at the Revalue My Card website and load your card with a selected value ($10, $15, $20, $25, $30). The six digit number on the back of the card is unique and needs to be input during the registration process.
Load your card using a credit card or debit (for select participating banks). You can purchase the following values: $10, $15, $20, $25, $30
Once you complete this step, you will be emailed a 'Load it Code' - jot down this number!
Take your card and 'Load it Code' to your laundry room and insert your laundry card in the "Revalue My Card" station, enter your code and the dollar amount you have purchased.
Use your loaded card in the laundry machines - you're ready to go!
If you lose your laundry card, please visit your Service Desk where you can purchase a new one for $5.
What address do I use to register?
In order to complete the registration process and use a credit card, you must provide an address within Ontario. If you live out of province or out of country, please list your campus residence address otherwise you will not be able to complete the registration process.
How much money can I put on my laundry card?
You will be able to select from the following preset values: $10, $15, $20, $25, $30.
How much does it cost to do laundry?
A load of laundry will cost $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry (an extra 10 minutes for the dryer will cost $0.25). The cost of running the machines is automatically deducted from your laundry card.
Can I use my student account to load my card?
No. It is not possible to charge your student account to load your card. You can pay by credit card or debit online - please visit the Revalue My Card website for details.
How do I put money on my laundry card?
Once you have registered your card, you will be able to put value on your card by using a credit card or debit card (for select participating banks). After you complete the payment steps, you will be emailed a code which you need to take and your card to the laundry room. There will be a "Load it" machine in your laundry room. Insert your card into the "Load it" machine and input the code you were emailed along with the value of the transaction. Once this step is complete, you are ready to do laundry!
What if I don't have a credit card or bank with one of the participating iDebit banks?
Looking for options on how to put money on your card? It's possible to purchase a Visa giftcard from local drug stores or grocery store; these cards will work in order to load your laundry card.
How do I use the card?
Once you have registered your card and completed the loading process at the "Load it" machine in your laundry room, you just need to insert your card in the washing machine and you are ready to do laundry!
What if I lose my card?
You can visit your service desk (in Keyes or Commons) and purchase a new card for $5.This replacement charge will be placed on your student account. Please note: the value on your lost card will not be replaced. You will need to register your new card and load it online.
What if I have money left on my laundry card at the end of the school year?
If you are returning to residence next year, hold on to your card - the value of the card doesn't expire.
Using your card:
I registered my card, made a purchase and I did not get a six digit "Load it Code". What do I do?
Upon completing registration you will receive a "confirmation of registration" email. This email will ask you to reply to complete the registration. If you do not receive this message, check your junk mail, or you will not be able to complete the final steps of registration.
I lost money in one of the machines, how do I get a refund?
Contact Harco via email and provide your card number, amount lost and machine where the problem occurred. Once the machine has been checked and confirmed defective, a code for the amount claimed will be sent to you. To complete the refund, go to you "Revalue my Card " station and enter the code and the amount refunded will be credited to your laundry card.
I tried reloading my card and got an error message. What do I do?
If the error message is 'Denied' - it means the code has been used already.
If you receive an error message that says "Not Verified" - this typically indicates the code is not valid for that card number or the location code.
