December Move-Out

View of McMaster campus on a snowy day

Each year, students are required to move out of their residence rooms by 12 Noon the day following their last exam in December.

Find out your exam schedule through your personal Exam Schedule on Mosaic to determine when your last day in residence will be. Your building access card will be deactivated as of 12 noon on your move out date, so be sure to pack everything you need for your time away. Exceptions can be made for certain cases, read on for more information about how to apply for a move out extension.
All residence buildings (with the exception of December Stay Building – Bates Residence) will be closed and secure from December 22nd at 12 Noon until 7:00AM Tuesday January 2nd, 2018. Campus services are suspended during this time.
Residence buildings will re-open at 7:00AM on Tuesday, January 2nd 2018.
