Community Impact Certificate
Are you a Residence or CoRE student?
Do you want to engage with your community?
Do you want to develop marketable job-related skills, such as leadership?
…if you said YES to any of these questions, the Community Impact Certificate could be for you!
The Community Impact Certificate is awarded at the end of the academic school year to residence and CoRE students who have successfully demonstrated involvement in the Residence Life community. These students have shown a commitment to engaging in their community by submitting at least one application to the Community Activity Fund and have also shown a commitment to learning by attending at least four Residence Life Educational Priority Events.
The Community Impact Certificate provides a great opportunity for students to fully immerse themselves in their residence experience at McMaster. The skills gained by completing the certificate could also be a beneficial addition to applications to future student leadership opportunities within the Residence Life Office. This includes, but is not limited to, positions such as Community Advisors (CAs) and Residence Orientation Representatives (RORs).
