Where Are You Going to Live Next Year?

Do you know where you’re going to live after you move out of residence?

If not, you’re not alone – my friends and I haven’t decided either, but we know we’re running out of time.

Choosing which house to live in and deciding whom to live with is not an easy task. But do not worry, every year the Off-Campus Resource Centre hosts this awesome event called the Off-Campus Housing Fair. This event aims to bring together prospective off-campus students and landlords with properties nearby. The landlords will be presenting their houses from 10:30AM to 2:30PM and you can drop in whenever you like. To make it even easier, the event is held in our very own McMaster University Student Centre (MUSC)!

You will have the opportunity to interact, ask questions and schedule a visit to their houses. Who knows, the house where you will make your best memories might be waiting for you on Thursday! The event is going to be huge and is open to anyone and everyone interested, so be sure to stop by.

Before you attend, keep in mind what questions you want to ask the prospective landlords – here are some to get you started:

• Who will pay for the utilities, how much do they usually cost?
• How far is it, is it easily accessible?
• What all facilities does the cost cover?

And last but not least,

• When can we come see it?
