McMaster expands housing options for upper-year undergrads
Upper-year undergraduate students can now lease at McMaster’s 10 Bay residence.
As the construction of the 30-story tower is complete, Housing & Conference Services is expanding the opportunity to live at 10 Bay to second-year and upper-level undergraduate students. Tenants can choose from studio, one-bedroom or shared two-bedroom apartments, with 12-month leases available as early as June 1, 2024.
Located in downtown Hamilton, 10 Bay features 24/7 security, with live-in McMaster support staff. McMaster’s newest residence includes a state-of-the-art fitness centre, arcade and game rooms, a theatre, a music room, workspaces and bookable conference rooms.
The decision to open 10 Bay to undergraduate students is part of McMaster’s dedication to helping students find safe and affordable housing, says Kevin Beatty, Director, Housing & Conference Services.
“10 Bay’s completion allows students to experience the university’s continuing commitment to their well-being, even after departing from first-year residences on our central campus,” Beatty says.
