Why Join the Timeless LLC? 

Students who are a part of the Timeless Living Learning Community will have the opportunity to: 

• Build meaningful connections with older adults living in the Hamilton community 
• Learn from older adults, while also sharing their own unique skills and knowledge 

• Explore commonalities and differences across generations 
• Explore career options related to health and ageing 

Each Living Learning Community offers a variety of activities and programs that make up key parts of the residence experience. We strongly encourage residents to take advantage of the many unique activities and events offered. Students can participate in as many or as few LLC events as they would like but the more events you participate in the more opportunities you will have to connect with fellow students and other members of the McMaster community. 

Programs & Opportunities 

Timeless LLC students will meet and develop meaningful bonds with local older adults through a variety of events and programming opportunities. Students will also learn more about research related to health and ageing happening on campus; explore their own thoughts and feelings around ageing, and discover volunteer and career opportunities related to ageing and older adults. 

Activities may include tours, social events, and volunteer experiences at the university, as well as: 

• One-on-one time to connect and bond with older adults 
• Intergenerational knowledge and skills sharing 

• Panel discussions and talks with professionals in the health and ageing field 
• Opportunities to learn about and participate in research 
• Opportunities to volunteer with local groups and organizations that support older adults
