Room Decorating and Damages

When you first arrive in residence, you will be asked to complete a room condition form. You can do so by logging into the Student Residence Portal.

Please note you will be responsible for any damage or missing items should you fail to complete this online process.

If your room is damaged at any time during the school year, you are responsible for paying the repair bill. You are also responsible for paying for any furniture that is missing from your room at the end of the year and/or any extra cleaning should you leave your room/apartment/suite dirty.

Please note that, room furniture must remain in your room; you cannot paint or alter your room in any way.

Room Decorating

Decorating is important in making your room feel like home. We just ask that you don’t damage or alter any part of your room by drilling holes, nailing, painting, etc. Don’t use Scotch tape, duct tape, masking tape or thumb tacks as they damage the paint on the wall. Sticky tabs and other non-destructive adhesives can be purchased to hang smaller objects like hooks or picture frames. All residents are responsible for the damage they may incur.
