Projects and Performance Job Description

The Project Assistant in the Projects and Performance unit will work closely with the Projects and performance team to assist with the planning and executing of Housing and Conference projects and initiatives. This position requires an individual who is self- motivated, adaptable, takes initiative and is capable of functioning both independently and in a team setting.  

Accountabilities:  

  • Provide administrative support for projects, events and meetings. 
  • Respond or redirect general inquiries in-person, by telephone or via email.  
  • Update information regarding projects and events on various communication channels. 
  • Provide on-site routine support for projects, events and meetings.  
  • Collect, update and maintain files, correspondence and records according to established guidelines. 

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Experience: 6 months of related experience
  • Assets: Excellent computer and technology skills

Additional Info:

  • Hourly rate: Starting at $16.55  
  • Operational demand may require working some weekends. For example: Residence Move-In weekend in late August.
